I am a hardworking, compassionate Occupational Therapist offering 15 years of expertise within the field of neurological rehabilitation. I am enthusiastic and keen to provide a superior service to clients to help them to achieve their goals and maximise their quality of life.

I qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 2002 from St Loyes at Exeter University. I was able to gain a breadth of experience in a variety of settings including burns and plastic surgery, orthopaedics, general medicine and paediatrics before specialising in neurological rehabilitation.

I have extensive experience in managing complex neurological client caseloads in both acute hospital and rehabilitation settings within the NHS, however, since 2017 I have operated as an independent practitioner working in the community.

I have a highly professional approach to client centered multi disciplinary working and demonstrate experience formulating comprehensive goal orientated treatment plans in collaboration with other disciplines. I feel I have a calm, caring nature which helps me to build a good rapport with client’s, families, carers and professionals

I am registered with the Health Professions Council and I am a member of the British Association for Occupational Therapists. I am also a member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists specialist section in independent practice.
